Weekend Edition

This is the weekend edition of "Where Two or More.....".I would just like to throw some topics out there and see what I can reel in!

1. What do you think of the fact that the Bush administration is contemplating closing a number of military bases in the U.S.? Are these decisions politically motivated?

2. Do you think the war in Iraq is a "good thing"?

3. What is your opinion of the Michael Jackson trial?

In politics, everything is political. However, Mississippi has one base on the chopping block for more than 1500 jobs. I think we all know on which side Mississippi stands.

War is never a "good" thing, but much positive effects will be had. Ask Iraqis and you will see nothing but gratitude except for the few terrorists that still hang around killing innocent women and children.

I have not even bothered to keep abreast of the Michael Jackson crap. Innocent or not, everyone knows that he is one sick dude.

Hey Two Dogs , how are you?I know that the base closings are political, but do you think that the Bush admin. is using this as threats over Governors and Senator's heads in order to get them to say......vote a certain way on judicial nominees or policy?

I understand what you mean about Mississippi, but this list is just a "threat list". I think it depends on who plays ball on social security and judicial nominees, if those bases actually close or not!!!

When it comes to Iraq, you are still convinced that it's only a few terrorists, huh? Well, I do think some Iraqi people are in agreement with the ousting of Saddam, however I don't think they are appreciative of America because we are proving that we are after their OIL!!!!!WHY THE HELL DID THE US APPOINT CHALABI AS OIL MINISTER? THAT'S NOT RIGHT AND IF I WERE IRAQI, I WOULD SEE THIS AS ANOTHER CIA PUT TOGETHER REGIME, AS WAS SADDAM'S REGIME!!

As far as Michael Jackson is concerned, I don't know the facts , but I think that Bubbles wasn't the only thing Michael was monkeying around with.

Goldi,so what you're saying is that you are only for keeping the bases open around YOUR way? JUST GHETTOISH!!!

I agree with you totally about the war!!!

As far as your take on MJ, come on Goldi, why are you going to just judge a person because his nose is removable?

About the military, the only thing that I want the Federal Government to do is provide a standing army, so I want the military expenditures to increase, do away with all the other things.

soundboyz, Iraq is such a small provider of our oil that it is insignificant. The funny thing will be when you finally realize that the only people in the world against overturning Saddam were the ones on the UN payroll on Oil For Food. The list is long, and I wouldn't be a bit surprised if you see Kofi brought up on charges.

And no, I really don't think that the Bush administration is playing politics with the short list. For the most part, military installation districts are overwhelmingly Republican, could it be that there are Servicemen in the area?

1-Who,in the world,knows that ?
2-The war in Iraq is good for meat-flies.(the big blue kind)
3-What is good about trials motivated by green bills and media's contempt for human illness.
Is accusation and gossip considered as evidence ?

Hi Imara, I agree with you on all counts!!!!I am not sure if the base closings are politically motivated either, but it will be interesting to see who votes on any social security bill, or who votes for judicial appointees, and which bases actually close!!

I have NOTHING else to add to your view on the war in Iraq. I totally agree!!!

As for Michael,I think you could have worded this a little better, Imara. It's obvious he loves little boys, the question is, how much ?I think Michael has been telling on himself the whole time , yet we ignored the signs!!He said he was Bad. He warned that he was Dangerous. He proclaimed that he is Off the Wall.He told young boys all over the world to Beat It.He basically spelled it ALL out in PYT(pretty young thing)!!!!Do I need to go on?

^ Imara, I am certainly NOT providing editorial advice NOW!!!!!!We know where you was going with that one!!!!Michael loves little boys, sure Imara , we ALL know that!!!!!

Listen , in Billie Jean when Michael states that "the kid is not my son", he was telling the truth. The kid was his lover!!!
